Erica Nicolas is a philosophy graduate student and teaching assistant at UNL. She received her B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Arkansas. Her primary interest is in epistemology, specifically epistemic defeasibility and justification. Other interests include philosophy of mind (consciousness and memory), philosophy of social science (collective agency), bioethics, and metaphysics. Recently, she has been interested in the metaphysics of gender and has developed an associative account of gender. In her free time, Erica enjoys playing games, watching sunsets, and being a cloud critic.
