Waverly High's Ethics Bowl Team won the Regional Ethics Bowl competition, sweeping University of Texas at Tyler University Academy, winning the votes of all three judges.
The team has been invited to the National High School Ethics Bowl Championship on April 10-12 at University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill.
The team was founded and is supported by the University of Nebraska–Lincoln's Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility, under direction of Adam Thompson, a lecturer in the Department of Philosophy.
